Events
One of the INETs predominant way of building a global community with thousands of new economic thinkers is through their high-profile events, partnering with leading universities and institutions.
INET hired me to carry out the event branding design for the events that were held on Jan 2020. There were about 3 events that happened in Mumbai, Delhi and Kerala. Each of the event had its own guiding principles and theme. They came up with the names such as Samvaad (Mumbai), Hikmat (Delhi), and Vikasaarth (Kerala).
Event Branding Concept
The event “Samvaad” by its name means “dialogue”. I came up with an identity that represents the guiding principles of creative thinking, open dialogue, and ethnicity, also portraying in a subtle way about breaking the intellectual barriers to embrace new approaches to economics focused on solution based impact for society which is the sole purpose of the event.
The event “Hikmat” by its name means “wisdom”. I created the identity based on the following guiding principles wisdom, philosophy, and rationale. I ensured that the branding represents the purpose of the event which is where the creative minds coming together from around the world bringing new perspective onto economics.
The event “Vikasarth” by its name means “for development”. I came up with a concept that enhances the meaning and represents the guiding principles of evolution, ethnicity, and development. The identity also reflects the events theme of bringing together a curated group of ‘pracademics’ engaged in economic, and public policy spheres to deliberate on pressing governance challenges via an interdisciplinary approach.
